The drought in Alabama is bad. These are photos from our front yard.
I had given up ever getting rid of the monkey grass. Well, I think this
drought may do it. Now I may miss the stuff! And I know I'll miss our
grass. I am trying to simply keep the few plants we still have alive - my
one poor hydrangea and the azaleas.

Oh-oh! Praying for rain for you.
Our garden looked like this in April. We had big cracks across the ground. Now it looks like Liz's picture, with the wettest June on record.
Ugh - I'm afraid ours will be like this when I get home....the sprinkler system broke before we left...however....everyone has been telling me that TX is covered in water...so maybe not.
