Amy's Bridal Tea

Amy was the perfect Bride to be...
And the hostesses were great - Toni is lovely.
And Mandii is very pregnant.
I just pray she lasts until AFTER the wedding...
Darcy was a bit befuddled that all the gifts were for Aunt Amy.
And the cake and punch was great but the cheese
was not so good (according to Darcy).

I have got to lose weight. Got to!

The new in laws were wonderful. We hit it off immediately.
They LOVE LOVE books. So they definitely fit right in.
And they wanted to try "Southern Food" afterwards so we did
the best we could - we went to Fish Market and they had (well, duh,
fish) fried okra, fried green tomatoes, hush puppies (who knew they
don't do hush puppies in NYC?), sweet tea, and a few assorted other
goodies. It was fun! We all had a great time.

Many of Amy's friends are artists and I was amazed at some of their
creative gifts. I shall have to take photos and post them. Next time..
Chris

Showers can be so overwhelming...but Amy looks happy and at ease in the photos.

I'm getting good...I recognize Jessican, Nicole, Dary, Amy and Rita...is the lady in the flowered shirt your mother? And who is the other lady shown in a few of the photos? A sister, friend, hostess?

Yes, the flowered shirt lady is my mother (Annette). My sister, Patty, is to my right in top photo.

Amy's friend, Brianna, is sitting next to her opening gifts. Brianna makes cast iron artwork.
smiles, Chris

Chris, just popping in. What a wonderful day! And GREAT news about the in-laws, lol. But I'd be more surprised if y'all DIDN'T have lots in common!!
