There's a way to tell the difference between a butterfly and a moth - one rests with its wings up (butterfly?) and the other rests with wings flat (moth?).

Chris, my first guess (can I have another?) was the cecropia, but after looking again, I guess it isn't.I had to look it up and I came up with Polyphemus moth, the one-eyed giant from Greek myths. He is quite stunning.Thanks for the push to learn something new today! :-) I just love nature and science!
